About
PESA Live is a multi-cam streaming app for viewers enabling them to be their own directors; watch an event from 4 different angles! It is available on AppStore and Google Play.
History
During my last semester as a Computer Science Undergrad @ Ryerson University, I took up a research project that involved working on a streaming app prototype.
In under 3 weeks I created what would be the prototype for PESA Live Services with PESA Live iOS app with advertisement carousels and custom Twitter streams. PESA Live debuted at the NABShow 2014 and managed to win New Bay Media Best of Show Award at NAB 2014.
I made my mark
and managed to secure a spot at PESA from 2014-2016. Along with Raymond Padillo we designed a distributed platform that enables event operators to promote their content and create custom tailored events with Twitter feeds.
We built the platform using:
- Go (golang)
- AngularJS
- Redis
- PostgreSQL
- BoltDB
- Gulp for UI builds
- Objective-C/Swift for iOS (Me)
- Java for Android (Raymond)
It was definitely an exciting experience! Aside from the tech, I created the logos for the Hub
, Bridge
and Live
!
