Spellbound Hair Design is a really cool looking hair styling studio with locations in Markham and Downtown Toronto. The interior design is so crazy…that’s all I can say. You just have to check out the space.

Carlos from Spellbound wanted a site with a simple clean design. It was in 2008 when flash was pretty interesting and I decided to take on the project with a gallery scroller backed by WordPress. Every page has a beautiful fullscreen photograph of his work.

After around 2013 we moved the flash scroller over to JS/HTML to support more browsers and some devices.

A custom admin theme was created to accomodate settings for various pages without having to hardcode. The gallery made use of NextGen Gallery and a custom routing handler was written to support a custom use case.
